A Special Edition!
This 17th edition marks a significant milestone in the history of the Verallia Design Awards with the introduction, for the first time, of a special award developed in partnership with a client. Created alongside the Rémy Cointreau Group, this new challenge gave students the opportunity to work from a real-world brief, directly aligned with market expectations and industry challenges.
The Rémy Cointreau Special Award was presented to Andy Marie-Joseph (L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique) during a ceremony held at the Group’s facilities in Angers. His project, Flow, reinterprets the traditional codes of the spirits category through a refined and contemporary approach. Combining clean forms with a modern visual language, the concept offers a fresh vision designed to appeal to younger generations while preserving the brand’s identity and heritage.
To celebrate this first collaboration, an exclusive trophy was also created. It brings together Verallia’s visual identity and that of Maison Cointreau, the first brand within the Group to collaborate with Verallia (since 1943), symbolizing the enduring relationship between two companies that share a long-standing history.
