The theme “Glass for living the moment” inspired the 672 students and young graduates from 132 design, packaging and fine arts schools who took part in the 14th Verallia Design Awards. On Friday June 30, ten young designers received their trophies, created by this year’s sponsor, designer Pierre Charrié. From the 60 shortlisted projects, the jury – made up of food industry professionals, journalists and designers – awarded 4 prizes: 3 “bottle” (Still and sparkling wines – Spirits – Beers, waters and soft drinks) and 1 “jar” (Food) corresponding to the glassmaker’s different markets. In addition, there were 2 “Coup de Coeur” awards: one from the Sponsor and the other from Verallia employees.
