Get ready to be inspired! The 16th edition of the Verallia Design Awards welcomes an exceptional sponsor: Sylvie Amar, renowned omnidesigner© and true virtuoso of design.
A multi-talented creator.
Sylvie Amar, a graduate of ENSCI (École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle), is a multi-talented creator, sensitive, curious, and demanding. In 1997, she founded her global design agency, Food Design, specializing in the art of living and gastronomy. Her refined and elegant style quickly opened the doors to the greatest French chefs, such as Pierre Gagnaire, Olivier Rœllinger, Jean-Georges Von Guerichten, and Jean-Michel Lorain.
Today, Sylvie Amar brings creative ideas and a strategic vision to the culinary arts, agriculture, food industry, and hospitality sectors. She embodies the brands she works for through product design, scenography, retail concepts, brand strategy, branding, packaging, and communication. From jury member to sponsor, a continuous commitment.
Already a jury member of the competition in 2017, Sylvie Amar returns this year to guide and inspire the participants. She says she is honored to take on this role:
“The Verallia competition has always been the most realistic of design competitions; it is a true gem of industrial design and a great showcase for our profession. The Verallia brand has always made it possible to offer students a real case study with constraints and by sharing its glassmaking expertise, which is extremely rare. I am proud to be the patron for this sparkling and funky edition, and I have only two words to say to the students: ‘Be Bold!'”
A source of inspiration for students.
As a sponsor, Sylvie Amar will bring participants her demanding yet caring perspective, as well as her unique experience in the design world. An exclusive webinar will be held on January 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM, an event not to be missed, during which Sylvie Amar will share her expertise and advice with the participants.
This edition, under the theme of “Funky and Sustainable Glass,” promises to push the boundaries of creativity while emphasizing innovation and sustainability.
Students, get ready to be inspired by a professional who embodies the highest level of passion for design!
